The Children’s Aid Society of Algoma works with other community partners such as Algoma Family Services and Indian Friendship Centre.  Our new partnership with Algoma Public Health, who has a High-Risk-Infant Nurse working out of our child protection department, is another similar partnership that we believe will assist vulnerable young mothers to continue to care for their child as opposed to entering care.
