The Non-Residential Intervention Program works closely with you and your family within your own home. This program is designed to work with families currently working with the Children’s Aid Society of Algoma where the children are currently still residing with their families/caregivers.
The hopes of the Children’s Aid Society of Algoma is to provide and support the positive development of children and their families within their own homes in a therapeutic style environment.
Intervention workers will work directly in the home with the children and their families to set goals and provide direction that the family and the Child Protection worker have agreed upon together. To ensure the success of intervention, parents and children with need to participate fully and cooperatively with the intervention worker.
