There were 1,439 adoption homes available or in use in Ontario as of March 31, 2006.  This is an increase of 28.6% since March 31, 2001

From January 2003 to March 2007, the CAS of Algoma placed 57 children into adoptive homes.   Included in the 57 children were 14 sets of sibling groups and 30 single children.

In 2006 a total of 15 children were placed into adoptive homes.  Ages of the children ranged from 4 weeks old to 11 years.
