Volunteer Services provides interested individuals with opportunities to support the work of protecting children and strengthening families in the Algoma District. Who are Volunteers? Algoma Children's Aid Society volunteers are people who are looking for opportunities to share and to learn. They love children, are willing to give their time and have a desire to share the responsibility for others in their community. What do Volunteers Do? We provide our volunteers with a wide range of opportunities. For example:driving, child care, clerical support, case aide, and helping at fund-raising and special events. How Much Time Will I Be Asked to Commit? Some of our volunteers donate a few hours of their time each week or month, while others work on volunteer assignments almost full-time.
